We had a great Christmas together as a family. The kids were really cute and fun to watch opening everything. We had a huge breakfast together, and played for a while and then went to a friends house. We had yummy food and played games and visited, it was a great day!

Life updates

On December 3, 2008 Mitchell had a small surgery, no big deal. Just had tubes put in his ears and had his adnoids taken out. He was contstantly sick, and I decided the cost of the surgery was better than a million Dr. visits and medicine. He did really great after surgery except for getting sick from getting put to sleep, which is totally normal. So it's been about 12 days and his breath stinks so bad. Again it's totally normal, but I keep thinking he has a poopy diaper because his breath is so bad. It makes getting kisses from him a little hard. I hope he is smelling better in no time so I can get Mitchell kisses without the stink!

We also were lucky enough to have grandma and grandpa and aunt rebecca ( elizabeth's fam) Come visit. We don't get very many visitors living this far away. It was great to have them here. We are thankful that they took the time to drive all the way from Utah. The kids loved having grandparents and an aunt here. Brad and I loved the extra help with the kids, and the chance to visit. We are slackers however and we don't have any pictures of their visit.

So other than that the kids are looking forward to getting out of school. And for Christmas. So hopefully the weather is good, since the kids will be home for three weeks. Hopefully no more snow in Houston. I was a little confused last week when it was snowing outside. I thought maybe I was back in Utah. At least there won't be any morning routine so early in the morning for a few weeks! Although, that is going to make going running really hard. I am not taking all 3 kids out running 2+ miles with me. Pushing Mitchell is one thing.

I'll post after Christmas and all the fun times. I bet there will even be pictures.
