Random babblings

Since it has been two weeks since my last post, I feel the need to add something to this blog. So here are a few things that have been going on. I guess I will just go down the list.

1. Brad found out what he will be doing for his new Rotation at work. He is going to stay within the Gulf of Mexico but be a Sub Sea Engineer. We don't know a lot about it at this time, but he is excited and feels like it will be a good thing.
2. I have one week left to wait for Breaking Dawn (the last book in the Twilight Saga) to come out and I don't know if I can be that patient. I am SO excited to read the book and see what happens to the characters. I don't know if I am going to be able to do this, but I would like to take my time reading it. Instead of plowing through like I did the first three. I guess I will be buying this fourth installment so I can read it as fast as I want to and then go back and read it as many times as I would like to. I just would like to read it at night when the kids are in bed instead of neglecting them, but I don't know that once I start I will be able to stop. SO EXCITED!!! I am obsessed, it would be fair to say.
3. It was a very rainy Summer last year down here in Houston. I think it had a lot to do with Gracie and praying for Rain so she didn't have to go to swim lessons. But this Summer has had very little rain, and a lot of hot sun. It has been hard with the kids being home because it's so hot you can't go outside, unless it's to swim. Which Brad and the kids love, but it's not my favorite thing. Especialy when you are outnumbered.
4. Is it August yet? I want August 25th to hurry along so that Isaac and Gracie can go back to school. I love my kids and I have loved this Summer break, but enough is enough. The first month of Summer flew by thanks to our trip to see family in Utah. The second month started off going fast and slowed down. And now everyday feel like a week. Gracie is going to be in Second Grade, which I swear she was just starting Kindergarten. Isaac will be returning to Memorial Parkway to the Deaf program. I think he is most excited to go back. He has asked for his teacher a lot this Summer and I think he wants to ride the bus again. Of course when school does start I won't be liking the up and going by 7:00 am. At least now we can lounge around until 9:00 or so.

Well that is the end to my babbling madness. As soon as I get something interesting or pictures I will put them on here.

Did you get the last Twilight book? I have only read the first, but it's pretty fun. I'm excited to read the next one.
Your kids are getting so big.

WELL, Well, well, if it isn't Brad and Elizabeth's blog. I'm glad you gave in to insurmountable peer-pressure and got yourselves a blog. Yes, very glad indeed. Now I can eStalk you. Are you still enjoying Texas?

So did you finish the book in two dyas or did you stretch it out? I think I was able to stretch it for five days and I totally loved it! Not what I expected, but makes me think this one shouldn't be the last one. Hope all is well!
